Introducing Buddhist America
We are delighted to introduce Buddhist America, a free publication dedicated to exploring and sharing Buddhist thought, culture, and practice across traditions. Our aim is to provide a publication where scholars, translators, teachers, practitioners, and community organizations can share research, teachings, and news that highlight the diversity and depth of Buddhism in the Americas.
Each month, Buddhist America will publish selected contributions ranging from insightful articles and histories to teaching reflections and translations. We hope this publication will serve not only as a resource for practitioners and academics but also as a bridge connecting the broader public with the evolving presence of Buddhism in our country today.
Contributing
We are now accepting submissions for our monthly publication. If you are an academic wishing to share your research, a teacher offering reflections on practice, a translator bringing new voices into English, or an organization wishing to share news and press releases, we invite you to contribute.
Submissions for each issue are due by the end of the preceding month (for example, September 30 for publication on November 1).
To submit, please send your topic, along with a draft or completed work and a brief background about yourself to:
